Merrie
Mizaras, President, has been participating in local theater for
nearly 30 years. She began performing with Middleborough Little Theater
during the 60Õs, was a supporting member of the Haight Ashbury Theatre
Company in San Francisco, and an ensemble actor with Theatre One Productions
during the 80's. She has also performed at Your Theatre in New Bedford,
the Country Club Players of Randolph, the Gateway Players in Wareham
and at fund-raisers for the Star Players of Taunton. As a founding member
of this company, along with performing in Picasso at the Lapin Agile,
I Hate Hamlet, Moon Over Buffalo, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The
Lion in Winter, Sylvia and Death Defying Acts, she has been
the general manager, grant writer and principal fundraiser.
Natalie
West, Legal Secretary, has
worked for 20 years producing, stage managing, peforming, stage crewing
and costuming for local theatre companies. She has stage managed for
several of NRP's most successful productions, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's
Nest, Misery, Love Letters and recently Laughter
on the 23rd Floor. Ms West has been employed during the past 15
years as a corporate paralegal for Nixon and Peabody in Boston which
has proved invaluable to NRP's incorporation and business entity. Ms
West has been a member of the Board since 2001.
Linda
Monchik, Clerk, is widely known in regional theater. Some of her
leading roles include: A Streetcar Named Desire, Glass Menagerie,
The Jewish Wife, Blithe Spirit, Love Letters, The Crucible, Steel Magnolias,
Misery, Kindertransport and Six Degrees of Separation. She is a
graduate of Smith College and holds masters from Columbia Teachers College
and Emerson College. Currently she is on the Speech Faculty at Bristol
Community College. Recently she understudied the award winning one-woman
show Golda's Balcony in Boston. Linda has been a Board Member since
2001.
John
Beausoleil, Director. John made his directorial debut with NRP last
season in Run For Your Wife. John has spent more than 20 years
involved in theater and entertainment production. He studied for many
years with the late Angus Bailey at UMASS Dartmouth and has served as
the technical director and set designer on numerous productions throughout
the region. For the past few years John has been a valuable member of
the NRP's Board of Directors and technical design advisor.
Lisa
Beausoleil, Actor. Lisa has been featured in many roles with NRP
since 2002. Laura in The Glass Menagerie, the title role in Sylvia,
Dorothy in Death Defying Acts, Mary in Run For Your Wife,
and Helen in Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Lisa was also cast in
2005 as the leading role of Sam in the original musical Monsters
which premiered for producers in Boston and then went on to New York,
where it performed at the TaDa Theatre. Lisa has been a Board Member
since 2004.
William
Begley, Director, holds a B.A in Music/Theatre Performance from
UMASS Dartmouth, where he studied voice with Jaqueline Bazinet Cobert.
Bill is a versatile talent whose many musical theatre roles include
Emile De Becque in South Pacific, Charlie Anderson in Shenandoah,
and the Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance. He has also performed
with Providence Opera Theatre, was a baritone soloist with jazz great
Dave Brubeck and has been a soloist with Brown University, Peloquin
Chorale, Providence Singers, and Rhode Island Festival Chorus. He has
directed NRP's The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged),
Death Defying Acts and Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Bill has also
starred in NRPÕs summer fundraiser, Love Letters and portrayed
Henry II in The Lion in Winter.

Holly
Leach, Box Office,
attended
Emerson College where she studied Oral Interpretation and Communication
Disorders. During the past 15 years, Holly was involved with local performing
group; New English Song and Daunce Company and until recently performed
with the Camerata Singers of New England Conservatory. Currently she
works in the Hanover public school system as a Speech Pathologist.
Eleanor
Osborne, Publicist, is a Boston University graduate, School of Fine
Arts, has a BA from Bridgewater State College, taught English and Drama,
Middleboro High School, Director of Speech and Theatre Workshop for
20 years, has sung with Handel and Haydn Society, Chorus Pro Musica,
Festival Chorus of Pittsburgh Symphony, and currently performing with
New England Conservatory's Camerata. Since 2002 has bee the Film Coordinator
of Herring Run ArtsFest, is currently a Trustee of Middleboro Public
Library, was the First Chairperson of Middleboro Cultural Council, and
has been on NRP Board since 2005. Loves the ARTS!
